Germiyan Street and historic mansions

Carrying Kütahya's 19th-century civil architecture, these mansions — with their narrow street fabric, bay windows and wooden details — are the living face of the city's memory. It is one of the first stops for those who want to read the symposium's “city and memory” axis on foot.

Grand Mosque, Tile Museum and Vacidiye Madrasa

The area around the Grand Mosque is a dense historic zone where Germiyan and early Ottoman layers intertwine. The Tile Museum reveals the complex of Yakub Bey II, while the Vacidiye Madrasa makes visible the scholarly and madrasa tradition of the Germiyan era.

Kütahya Castle

Spanning repairs from antiquity through the Byzantine, Seljuk, Germiyan and Ottoman periods, the castle lets you see the city together with its topography. It gives visitors the chance to grasp not only Kütahya's central monuments but also its historical geography.

Ancient City of Aizanoi

Aizanoi, in Çavdarhisar, lies about 50 km from Kütahya. With its Temple of Zeus, theater-stadium complex and Roman-era urban fabric, it offers a powerful route showing the region's long pre-Germiyan historical depth.
